Public spaces belong to everyone, and we should all be able to share and enjoy them equally. We are delighted that local disabled and learning-disabled photographers took time to capture places in our local area that mean something to them, that they think says something about the area or that just inspired them when they saw it.
Thank you to all the photographers and a special acknowledgement to the Steps Walking Photography Group for all of their images and to the staff team who have been so supportive in bringing the images together. Thank you all for capturing different aspects of Our Stomping Grounds.
It’s important that we ensure disabled people are visible in our communities and feel safe and supported when out and about.
