Part of the Our Stomping Grounds Festival
Daytime Rave with ARCtic Piranha
Daytime Rave with ARCtic Piranha
A Full Circle event in association with Little Cog and ARC Stockton
Daytime Rave with ARCtic Piranha
2 February 1.30-2.25pm The Point at ARC
This event is free but booking is essential - click here to book ARCtic Piranha Daytime Rave - ARC | Stockton Arts Centre (arconline.co.uk)
Running Time - 55 minutes
Access - there is a wheelchair accessible entrance to the point and tables and chairs will be available.
This event will be noisy with loud music and colourful lights and decor so there is a quiet area provided elsewhere in ARC.
This daytime rave has been supported by the ARCtic Piranha DJ crew and promises to bring a real sense of party and celebration to Our Stomping Grounds Festival.
Full Circle Theatre Company wanted to involve as many people as possible in the planning of the Festival and to showcase the talents of local learning disabled people.
Both ARCtic Piranha and Full Circle were set up by learning disabled people who had identified a need for both the chance to dance and socialise in a safe space, and to create theatre to showcase learning disabled peoples’ ideas and experiences. It made perfect sense for them to partner up for the Festival.
This afternoon rave is aimed at learning disabled people and their friends and families.
What’s not to love about dancing in the afternoon!
