Drumming Workshop and Performance
Wednesday 12 June
You will take part in the following:
10.00 am - 11.50am - Drumming Workshop (Main Theatre Welcome, ARC Workshop for Drumming)
12.00-1.00 pm The Big Packed Lunch (you'll need to bring this with you)
1.00- 1.50pm Drumming Rehearsal with singers and dancers
2.00pm Public Performance of the Festival Anthem in ARC's amazing Theatre.
This is all free to take part in.
Please bring a support worker/companion if you require one to one support.
Join us for this unique experience - you won't regret it. This is a percussion and drumming workshop to create some amazing beats and sounds to accompany our brand new Festival Anthem composed by Bridie Jackson and Full Circle.
You'll spend the day with a fab group of people and the amazing musician Gary Bowden, pictured below. Gary is a hugely popular musician and workshop facilitator. His workshop with us last year was a sell out success, with people up on their feet dancing, singing an original song and playing an amazing array of percussion instruments - from the expected - ie drums, to the unexpected, ie chopsticks! Everyone loved it.
