Our Stomping Grounds Festival and the community workshops are part of Little Cog and Full Circle's latest project Radical Revelations which focuses on Learning Disabled Artist Leadership in the North. The project is funded by Arts Council England and delivered with the support of Arc Stockton.

Urban Kaos - Power Pose Dance Workshop
Wednesday 30 July 10am-12pm Urban Kaos are delivering a fantastic movement workshop for body confidence, presentation and power poses. It has been carefully planned to tap into several of the festivals themes. Dynamic fun and energy guaranteed from this amazing team. SOLD OUT |

Bridie Jackson Singing Workshop
Wednesday 6 August 1pm-3pm Joyful and empowering songs of community, confidence and leadership. Inclusive workshop, no previous experience needed. Doesn't matter if you haven't done it before or think you can't sing! All are welcome to give this a try. Bridie is a passionate community musician, committed to creating joyful musical experiences. She leads community choirs, song writing projects and Early Years music making. She works all across the Northeast, regularly collaborating with amazing local organisations such as We Make Culture and Theatre Hullaballoo. Alongside her community work, Bridie also regularly performs as half of the duo, Staithe and composes music for dance, theatre and art installations. She is delighted to be back for this year’s Our Stomping Ground Festival. SOLD OUT |

Music Workshop with Gary Bowden
Wednesday 13 August 1pm-3pm Create some unique and new music. Play drums and percussion, use your voices, and explore what makes you proud. Gary is a Community Musician, working with groups, organisations and individuals across the North East, with a passion for delivering and developing accessible creative opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Every music session is unique, enabling participants to explore and develop their creativity in ways that are meaningful for them, and can include a mixture of drumming, percussion, song writing and singing. Gary is thrilled to be asked back to the big family at Our Stomping Ground Festival. SOLD OUT |

Festival Banners with Trish Mayes
Wednesday 3 September 10am-12pm Wednesday 10 September 10am-12pm **Please note you need to attend both workshops. As part of the Stomping Ground Festival at ARC Stockton, a large group of learning disabled adults will each create a painted or printed fabric banner. These vibrant artworks will celebrate and showcase the pride, creativity, and culture of the Learning Disability community. Trish Mayes is a North East England–based scenic artist, prop maker, and founder of Backstage Builders CIC. With a background in Theatre Production and Fine Art, she creates bespoke sets and props for theatre, TV, and events—working with clients like the BBC, Northern Stage, and Leeds Grand Youth Theatre. Known for imaginative, practical designs (like 320 metres of Audrey II tentacles), she also teaches scenic arts and mentors emerging talent, championing creativity, collaboration, and inclusive backstage careers. Festival Flag Making with Full Circle
Wednesday 17 September 1pm-3pm Join us for flag making fun and help us break the Stockton World Record for making as many flags as possible in 2 hours! This is a creative craft session focussed on flag making. Everyone will make a flag to take home whilst also being part of a challenge to make 100 small flags to give out to audiences at the festival. Dance Workshop with Umar Butt
Wednesday 24 September 1pm-3pm Umar is a much loved member of our festival family, delivering a cracking Bollywood workshop at our first ever Our Stomping Grounds where everyone created a fantastic routine. His dance workshops are filled with celebration, energy, excitement, and joy, and he is a brilliant teacher. No experience is needed as you are guided through a dance and movement journey as a group. Making a Welcome Lei - a giant welcome lei for the festival and individual ones to take home - Full Circle
Wednesday 1 October 1pm-3pm Come and be part of making a giant colourful welcome lei (a bit like the welcome garlands given out in Hawaii) to drape at the festival entrance of ARC's massive building to give everyone a massive warm welcome. You can also create individual smaller ones to take home! No experience is necessary and there will be plenty of help on hand. SOLD OUT |

Catwalk Workshop - Feeling Magnificent
Thursday 9 October 1pm-3pm Everyone deserves the right to strut their stuff and feel magnificent from time to time. This fun, supportive safe workshop is a huge confidence booster and a brilliant way to have fun as a team. This was so popular last year the participants performed a catwalk routine in the Stomp Cabaret. Our fantastic facilitator is still to be announced. Watch this space! SOLD OUT |

Wig and Moustache Physical Comedy Workshop
Wednesday 15 October 1pm- 3pm A comedy workshop by popular demand! Laughter is a big part of our day at Full Circle - it's an important ingredient of life. A chance to be funny, silly and serious all whilst wearing a range of wigs and moustaches in true surreal Teesside style. (Think Bob Mortimer). DJ Workshop with Krokodile Krew
Tuesday 21 October 1pm -3pm The fabulous Krokidile Krew from the Lawnmowers Theatre Company are coming to Teesside! We’re thrilled that they are going to run a DJ workshop - they are one of the earliest established club nights for learning disabled people. Drama and Movement Session - Triumphant Champions - Full Circle
Thurs 23 October 1pm-3pm Full Circle are experts in movement and physical theatre. They invite you into their world for a fantastic group session building towards an amazing feel good movement routine.
